A broken heart,
Bleeds tears.
But it’s those
Under her eyes,
That fascinate me
The most.
How they crash
Onto her skin
From the ocean
Of her eyes.
Raindrops,
From the storms
Within her.
How they glisten
Like a stream
In the fall.
Only a stream:
Is full of water.
Her tears:
Full of words.
Words:
That weave poetry,
As they trickle.
Down her chin.
Into the etchings,
Of my palms.

Well done mate. A weeping river or maybe just one lonely tear rolling free. Usually results from grim pain but also sometimes from great joy, Either way our powerful feelings released together in a glistening beautiful stream.
This year has not been my year for writing. Work and injury and pain have conspired against my efforts but I’m trying and won’t give up. When time permits I will remember to share and will never forget the great influence of talented writers like you.
