I wake up in the morn
With my eyes so damp
A knot in the stomach
Almost like a cramp.
I walk up to the mirror
Expecting a look as sore,
But they are just the feelings
That are crawling up my core.
And the previous mishaps that are Irrelevant today,
Are trotting to my silly mind
It’s something I want to say.
But I won’t succumb:
There are angels in the sky,
Some people pull you up
When woe makes you high.
I have an angel too,
One that holds my hand,
We can take over the world
Together as a band.
The angel’s a gift from heaven
Stood through my highs and lows,
She has helped me find my voice
From the unending echoes!
They say, “Call God, he’s missing an angel,” I say damn right he is!

Thank you for noting the rhyme part, it does actually rhyme, but because of some reader issue, the first few words of the line are misplaced, so the rhythm goes out a bit. But thank you so much for your kindness.
