It was dark:
the night that day,
and it rained hard:
a storm at bay.
Sleeplessly I stirred
and sat up in fright,
a pair of jade stared at me
it was this very night.
Two round jade stones
green as a pea,
and they just stared
just stared at me!
The stones advanced
revealing whitewashed teeth,
and a dark red tongue
that slurped beneath.
A flash of lightening
illuminated the room,
for a second or so
and the thunder went boom!
Oh it was ugly;
monsters weren’t lies,
but all its malice was held
in those jade eyes.
The plot was was sinister
its eyes were a sea,
the sea of jealousy
and it was coming for me…
